Took early retirement in 1995 and needed something to occupy my time. Always being fascinated by gadgets led me to buying my first digital camera. I remember sitting out in the garden reading the manual and exploring the settings. A bird settled nearby and I took my first shot. Seeing it on the computer had me spellbound and I was hooked. Now it's grown into a obsession to get closer and get that 'special shot'.

His images have grown and grown to the point where to view his photostream is a sheer pleasure.
