I'm a former Richmond, VA policemen & retired Special Agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Forearms (ATF AGENT). As an arson investigator with ATF, I worked closely with both volunteer and professional fire fightersand developed an incredible respect for them. I find their equipment fascinating, and as with vintage police equipment, I love restoring it. In restoring these old fire alarm pull stations (boxes) and police call boxes, we are preserving the earliest of police and fire service communications. I hope you enjoy the pictures I contribute.
