This is my personal Flickr Account chronicling some of my adventures in Perú during the summer of 2011. I participated in a Kansas State University, faculty-led study abroad trip for 6 weeks, and it completely changed my life. As a Spanish and International Studies dual major, I always knew that I would study abroad to gain the linguistic skill-set that I needed. What I didn't anticipate, though, is just how close I would become to the Peruvian people, culture, social complex, and host-family that I was assigned to. Studying abroad in Peru was an amazing experience that taught me more than any classroom experience could have, and I would recommend this country as a host location in a heart beat!! Any Spanish student should really consider making Peru their next destination!
