Alan is a senior landscape architect, designer and project manager with 42 years of experience. His career includes both private and public practice; he earned a bachelor of landscape architecture from Utah State University. Projects include community and urban design, institutional and corporate campuses, transportation facilities, resorts and waterfronts. He has worked with some recognized designers and offices earning over 50 design awards. Alan is interested with the artistic approach to design, intuitive and imaginative ideas that encourage personal engagements with the landscape.

Alan recently returned from working in China for the last 11 years; seeing the historical change and urbanization of a huge country, experiencing new cultures, enjoying the people and deciduous foods.
