I’m originally from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, my home for 20 years before I came to New Jersey with my mother seven years ago. I majored in graphic design at Rowan University, and now work as a graphic designer and illustrator, mainly computer work.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved to draw and design. In the tenth grade, a private course in Photoshop and Illustrator I took hooked me on the computer design software. The programs are fast and powerful tools that I use to convey creative ideas from my head.

I enjoy making various crafts – sewing, crocheting, felting, quilting, screen printing and my current favorite, silk painting. I love the look and feel of silk. When I paint silk, I feel free and beautiful.

Nature really inspires me. It’s just so pretty. My mom has always been a big flower lover, and I think that really influenced me. The themes of my personal artwork range from plants and flowers to birds and animals, and everything in between. I like to keep myself updated with the works of other artists, so I know what’s going on!
