deanna is the only person I have ever known who lives in Mississippi & I've come to think of her as my pictorial geography book for that area of north america. Her beautiful images of the rural life she lives, gorgeous sunsets, powerful stormy skies, smooth reflections in still ponds, verdant spreading landscapes, fill my soul with nature's silence & serenity, a wonderful calming contrast to the concrete urban jungle I exist in most of the time. And she always delights with her candid captures of Aka, her cat, & the numerous dogs, especially "explore exposed" Lucy, that share her life. She seems to carry a gentle generous spirit & it's been my good fortune to get to know her here in flickrland & to have come to call her friend. Thank you, deanna.
