I am 30 years old and have been in the Army for 5 years now. I took a huge pay cut and enlisted after 9-11 to serve my country as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. I served one tour in Iraq with the 82nd between Ramadi and Fallujah.

I since re-enlisted and I am now a Photo Journalist/Public Affairs Specialist in the US Army who is currently deployed to Afghanistan. What does that mean you ask? It means I try to inform the public on what the Army is doing. I also help in trying to get the Army's side of the story into the mainstream media. Basically, it is like working Public Relations.

I like politics, reading, hunting, fishing, Old School NASCAR, horse back riding, hiking, camping in the woods and on the beach and other things.
