Joey was able to make her better than I ever imagined possible! He worked is skills on de-yellowing her skin, redoing her makeup into vintagey perfection, repairing her eyeball issues & smoothing her frizz halo. I am *so* incredibly happy to with his work and would easily send him another Kenner to restore in a heartbeat.

I "met" Joey about a year and a half ago when I first started falling in love with his custom girls. I adopted three within a short period of time and became friends with him in the process. I find Joey to be a deeply sensitive and caring person and also an emotional one. I love this side of Joey as it comes through in the girls that he creates and with the way he nurtures his relationships. The first three girls have since moved on and I currently have two new Mo'Betta girls in the house. Moxy and little Miss Sadie Took! I consider Joey a friend and look forward to the day that I can give him a big hug in person!

joey is a very talented artist with good aesthetic taste. i love how he customizes and photographs dolls. i'm fortunate to have joey as a friend and that my brunette kenner was restored by him. her make up is so beautiful now and he fixed her body! joey is also my first blythe friend i had met in person when i first started collecting and gave me a good impression on the community and lots of good advice on dolls. he also introduced me to other wonderful, talented and interesting blythe collectors like him. i'm always looking forward to seeing his next doll project and constantly awed by his talent and versatility.

I love his bright quirky customs as much as I love his subtle beauties. But IMHO, I think his Kenner customs are absolutely divine! I love the way he does Kenner lips. His humor is sharp and sometimes shocking but it's just dolls, so don't be too sensitive. ;) Joey also collects a lot of other dolls so he's extremely knowledgeable.
