Time to start adding some decent images and get serious.
I was just someone out to have fun taking pictures, just snaps if you like nothing serious just get out with my friends and have a good time. In 2017 I entered a national photographic competition run by the BBC and was surprised at becoming one of twelve finalists from over forty thousand entries and I my image published in their annual Countryfile calendar of 2018 with what they re-named Down time. A simple composition of a cygnet poking it's head out from under the wing of it's mother. It was then I considered a change to my career but knowing I was nowhere good enough to make any kind of living from it, set out to learn more about compositions, techniques and how to create pleasing images of a high standard, of which I'm still learning. Now I feel I'm point where my images are at a level I'm happy to release as photographic art prints and work as a semi-professional landscape photographer.
