Author, photo-journalist, and former writer-in-residence at the Loom in Belfast, Northern Ireland, after retiring from campus ministry (11 years at Stanford). I also worked as a technical writer and editor in Silicon Valley, and am the author of six published books and several others awaiting publication. A member of the Eastern Orthodox Church, I specialize in Christian apologetics, defense of the faith. Three of my books deal with C.S. Lewis (The Everything Guide to CSL and Narnia; CSL Themes and Threads (30+ short essays), and Saint Clive, a Spiritual Life of CSL. I have also written books on Christian worldview and journalism and have been editor of a dozen or more newspapers and magazines ranging from 2000 to 100,000 in circulation. Also founder-editor of Nanty Glo Home Page, a not-for-profit community service website, I wrote and published a blog ("a roundup of every-day important things”) for years.
