I have been interested in photography most of my adult life.Got my first slr in the mid seventies and my first dslr in 2002 while living in Fort Lauderdale.I photographed my son's teeball activities and later started my own business as a sports photographer and eventually moved on to doing portraits in my home and at banquet events.

Relocating to my hometown of Houston,Texas in 2006,I got hooked on birding with just one visit to Brazos Bend State Park near Houston.I met so many helpful photographers here out in the field.Shooting wildlife is now my passion and I am hopelessly addicted.

Most of my images are along our great gulf coast area which provides a rich diversity of birds.I do however travel to Colorado and Florida yearly since I am now retired.I also visit Big Bend National Park every year in West Texas along Mexico's border on the Rio Grande River.A fascinating place to say the least.

Thank you for visiting my photostream.I hope some of my images puts a smile on your face.I appreciate the comments on my images however lately some members come in without commenting but like to bring my images into their favorites.My opinion is if you like it enough to make it a favorite,it should be good enough for a comment.Members with no images on their photostream and taking my images as favorites will be blocked from my photostream as your intentions are not clear to me.
