Novice photographer. I bought a nikon 3100 for my birthday in October 2011 after going to Mount Hood, Oregon that August and only having a point and shoot and wishing i had better equipment with me. I also shoot with an Olympus E-P2 when i go hiking or want a lighter weight camera in my backpack.
