Hi there! I'm the ABC Open Producer for Western Plains, based in Dubbo.

I'm not a local - I'm newly arrived direct from London, and am originally from NZ - and I'm thrilled to be here and to have the opportunity to explore this vast region with camera in hand.

My background is in documentary filmmaking and working with communities to share their stories using digital media. I've done a lot of travelling in my time, and using a camera to document the places and people I’ve experienced and met has always been a key part of the fun.

I’m keen to link up with photographers based in the Western Plains and see the photos coming out of the region whether it’s a wildlife shot at Dubbo zoo, a picturesque sunset across the wheat fields or an amazing portrait of a local personality. I’m here to learn from you about what you love to photograph in Western Plains and to help with any photography advice you might need.
