Skipped the last couple of years as I was ill in 2013 and mum suffered an illness last year and sadly passed away in December 2015, I miss her so much but she used to view, criticise and encourage my photography and was there for me 100% so will continue in her memory.

Just getting back into it now so you will be seeing a few more posts from me, thank you to my loyal followers who have supported me throughout.

Nov 2012 - 1st year update

It's been a whole year since I started taking photography a bit more seriously, loving every minute of it although not getting as much time as I would like to enjoy due to work commitments. I have now experienced a wide range of topics, from indoor, landscapes, macro and wildlife and do like to vary my photostream to make it more interesting. I purchased a macro lens a few weeks ago and loved it from the minute I bought it, so can't wait to invest in new equipment to experiment. I have learnt a lot of techniques in my first year and surprised myself, so looking forward to what I can achieve from my second year. Thank you to all my Flickr friends for all your help and support.

I have always liked photography but only the usual snaps on holiday, snow scenes, family etc.

A friend of mine (jankmarshall) told me about this site so I thought I'd take it a bit more seriously.

My photos are probably not the best as I am learning but would appreciate all comments, good or bad. I have had no training or belong to any photographic group, so who knows.
