I write about Los Angeles history, film history, my own misadventures and a few other subjects. I've researched, written and led architectural and cultural history tours and placed my work in numerous publications.

*But in the interim, I had the privilege to work for some of the best American Regional Department Stores, toiled at some of the craziest, worked with many others shopped at the rest. It's a type of retail that has gone out of existence in 30 short years.
