I am a photographer living in a small community near Tulsa OK. I was given my first camera by my mother when I was seven years old. Since then one has found its way in out of my life many times but when digital photography came about it never left. I love the ability to create in the digital darkroom. I am an artist at my core and the creative process is what ignites the passion that drives the rest of my life. Most all of my photographs are created both by the capture process and the post process. As one of my favorite photographers John Shaw said once, “if you want to see exactly what it looks like go see it for yourself”. I agree completely. I am not interested in making snapshots of anything I photograph. I am driven to create a photograph, a print, a piece of unique art that will move you with its beauty and feeling. Most of my photographs are a minimum of five images that I process individually and then combine and using brushes, paint in what I want you to see of the finished product. It is a total creative process. My photographs are created, not taken. I hope you appreciate the effort to create a one of kind print of what was in front of my eyes.

This year, 2013, I am focusing on Railroad Photography Art project. I will be shooting trains until December and plan on a ebook of the photographs in 2014. Come along for the ride.
