I have been amateur birding since 2004. In June of 2011 I bought a Canon PowerShot SX 130 IS so that I can take pictures of birds and put the photos up on my Facebook account for fun. Started a Flickr account November 2011 to share photos with like minded people.

 

This only fueled my nature photography hobby to the point where I upgraded to a Canon PowerShot SX50 HS in January 2015. I feel that I have received more views and favs since then.
