I've always loved photography, but I'd like to turn my "pretty pictures" into "gorgeous photographs". I recently purchased my first DSLR, a Canon EOS Rebel T3i after relying on my trusty Canon PowerShots for so long. It is intimidation trying to learn all of the functions of my new camera, and I have a lot to learn. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest so there is so many opportunities for beautiful scenery, and I work for an airline so I travel quite a bit. I'd like to start taking advantage of the many opportunities I have to practice my hobby of photography.
