Melody is a conceptual artist who works with the human body, with references drawn from bioscience, human development & psychology, with a strong emphasis on gender & sexuality.

Materials are drawn from the domestic realm, & encompass traditional handcraft techniques, particularly textiles - wool.

The golden beaches, azure water & jewel toned hills of Whakatu, Te Wai Pounamu, Aotearoa (Nelson, in the South Island of New Zealand) are home, where Melody is an artist simply cos she gets to walk on the beach every day. Sigh.
