Bought my first (second hand) digital SLR (Canon D400) in December 2010 and have been enjoying a love-hate relationship with it ever since. I love the arty side of photography and endure the scientific side but I know I need both to produce photos that I am happy with - so I'm reading my manual and experimenting with lots of photos. My 'fancy' camera (to my non-photographic friends) suddenly becomes a very basic model in Flickrland and I wonder just what I can achieve with the tool in my hand - that's part of the challenge!
