Retirement has opened a whole new world where I now have the time to do many things that previously I didn't even have the time to think about. "Birding" has become a passion. Not too long after friends in Texas introduced us to birding I started taking pictures of the birds we were seeing to help with their identification. Soon I was hooked on photography. Through trial and error I have been slowly learning. Being a part of Flickr and viewing all of the amazing shots taken by others is a wonderful learning experience.
