Dag has the ability to take a photo and make you wish you were there. I say this not just because the images he takes show great scenery but you just know the process of getting that shot would be fun. I'm always astounded by the range of subjects and techniques in his repertoire which makes him a truly talented individual. I always look forward to seeing his new work and I expect his portfolio to become stronger and even more interesting in the future. Dag has become one of my best friends here on Flickr. I always look forward to hearing from him, and he has been nothing but encouraging and kind - a true gentleman. He happens to also be a very skilled photographer! He is a master of lines and composition, framing and angles. His photos jump from breathtaking landscapes, to portraits of friends, to architecture, to flowers or an occasional self portrait - all of them showcasing his creativity, and the ability to show everyday things as something wonderful. Dag has made my flickr experience an amazing and extremely positive one. His generosity, passion, playfulness, and creativity are easy to see in his stream. His portraits are brilliant and his subjects captured with such warmth and ease. I find myself returning to his portraits especially, but his street, landscape, and live music shots are equally brilliant. He inspires me. I've enjoyed getting to know him; he's taught me everything I know about shiny surfaces, The White Stripes, pike, and the magic of milkshakes. I suspect he's the kind of man you'd want to have around on a trip to Iceland---resourceful, adventurous, enthusiastic, with an uncanny ability to get a perfect self portrait from the reflection on a glacier. I'd love to watch him in action! I'm a fan! Think I'll keep him around for awhile. ;)
