INTRODUCTION TO RUMI ACADEMY OF ARTS AND CRAFTS

It was the 21 day of March, 2011, when Rumi Academy of Arts and Crafts was established in Gilgit-Baltistan, it took the initiative in order to improve the hidden talents of the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan also to develop and preserve the precious culture of Gilgit-Baltistan for this purpose following courses are being teaching at RAAC,

1.3 months course (fine Arts, Graphic Design, Textile Design, Interior Design, Land Scaping, Documentation, Research )

2.6 months certificate course (Local music )

3.1 year Diploma (Wood carving, Stone carving

4.3 years Advance Diploma (Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Textile Design, Local music, Photography, Land Scaping, Documentation, Research, Wood Carving, Stone Carving, Handicraft ).

Our main institute is RAAC and RCC is branch of RACC. All type of practical work i.e. wood carving, stone carving, wooden furniture and production of all kinds of wooden products.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

To facilitate children in polishing their talent.

To aware families about talents children have with recommendations.

To preserve culture of Gilgit-Baltistan
