Norwegian sailor, born in 1967 and have been taking pictures since I got my first camera for Christmas in the mid 70's. I started with film obviously, but had a short period shooting digital around 2008 to 2010 or so. Since then it's been more or less back to film, and nowadays I only shoot film.

I got my own darkroom and a very small business called Way Out West Photography. The name came to me quite naturally because of the location of the darkroom, on a very tiny island way off the west coast of Norway, called Ona. There is only about ten people living on this island, and it's the perfect place to get things done due to the fact that there's nothing much else going on.

I really love to work in the darkroom, and especially during the wintertime when daylight is almost non existing and the weather is really bad outside.
