My name is Sarah (or in Irish Sorcha), I come from a pretty town called Sligo in the West of Ireland, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and scenery. Growing up I was spoilt for choice when it came to family days out. We had so many beautiful places to go together, whether it be a woodland, a beach or walking through hills and mountains. I come from a big family so there were always exciting occasions within our household to keep me entertained! I always loved to capture the most special moments which I had with my family and friends, but it was not until the loss of two special family members within a close period of time, that I began to realise how important it was for me to capture all the beautiful things I have in my life, as well as I can. Memory is a great and powerful thing, but when you come across a beautiful and special person/place, it can be difficult to express how wonderful they/it is, but pictures, if captured well, can always help.

I know very little about photography terminology, I just see beauty around me, and try my best to capture it as well as I can, so I can share it with others. And with practice, I hope to improve my skill to capture these special people and places I come across with more accuracy.
