My name is Dustin and I very recently discovered the wonderful world of photography. I really enjoy the challenge of sports photography. Naturally, I shoot mostly water sports because I am a part of our local water polo and swim teams. I love the challenge of shooting in indoor pool facilities and I enjoy every moment of it. Most of my photography is influenced by other famous sports photographers such as Bob Martin. I feel that one of the best ways to get better is to learn and look at other professional works. In my photography I really try to focus on the moment. I don't spend a lot of time planning my pictures; I like to just go out and shoot. Of course this style of photography works well with sports because you're never able to predict what's going to happen next. When people look at my photography I hope they see the work, emotion, and excitement athletes put into their sport. This is what I strive to show in my work.
