I love to craft!

I am an avid woodworker and make a lot of custom pine country furniture for people around my town. But I don't have a lot of furniture in my house, lol!

I love to sew and have been making clothing for myself for years. When I had my first child I made all my own maternity clothes. Now my girls don't like me to sew for them and I haven't made much for myself lately. I have been making baby quilts for friends and family for about 10 years and I recently got involved with some online swaps. They are very fun and so addicting!

I have 4 children ranging in ages from 3 - 11. They keep my very busy so I have to get my crafty projects done fast!

My fabric/quilting preferences:

I like bright colors and I am leaning towards doing some projects with only solids. If a quilt is going to have grey in it like so many do now, I like a light color like Kona Ash.

I like nice clean lines and decorative top stitching.

I also like the 1930's fabric but I don't have any yet.

I like modern prints and quilts too, but not with objects in them like furniture, vehicles, cats, etc.

But apples are cool.

I don't like the red/aqau blue combo.
