What has drawn me to photography is the possibility that it offers to express the diversity of life and humanity through capturing glimpses of how beings relate to their habitat. In particular, I find interesting the juxtaposition between a society in harmony with its environment, and one that is alienated from it - whether this be within a hubristic mega-urban structure, in an Indian leper colony, or at a dwindling waterhole in the Horn of Africa.
