On retirement I moved to Dorset with my wife after our children conveniently flew the nest.I have had a life long interest in natural history and have only recently taken up photography, so I am still very much in the learning phase .I prefer dragonfly/butterfly photography (mainly due to the size of lens you have to lug about for other types of nature photography).This hobby requires an extraordinary amount of patience,so a keen sense of humour is crucial in order to retain your sanity. I hope others enjoy viewing the results of my efforts in this absorbing area of photography and thereby get to enjoy the beauty of nature which surrounds us,but is often unseen.
