I live in Evanston Illinois and I write/photog/enjoy a lot in the Chicagoland area. I'm a rabid rock/metal/indie/punk music fan, science fiction fan and gaming/computer gaming enthusiast. For a day job I'm a Sysadmin for Verizon. Programming/open source OS are hobbies as well. My wife, Ruta, is an excellent photographer (I think!) - she uses a Leica D3 and I use a Canon SD700.
