Just turned 70 years old, midwestern by birth, upbringing and education, then spent 25 years in the army, went around the world twice, wound up 75 miles away from where I started. Engineer by trade now, hung up uniform in 96, retired from civilian job in 13, have not done a very good job of being retired since then.
