History

Established in 1940

We've been around for a long time - but, we weren't always named UMe. The credit union (previously called Burbank Community FCU) was started in 1940 by a group of Burbank Unified School District teachers. Back then, the credit union operated out of a teacher's desk drawer. (Hard to believe, right?)

Today, we're about 12,000 members strong - and growing - and proudly serving the community of Burbank.
