Frank Aquila is the founder and president of the South San Joaquin Republicans (SSJR), an organization he created to help area conservatives network, get involved in the political process and meet their representatives.

Through the SSJR Aquila has met President George W. Bush, moderated congressional forums, organized an event for Gold Star Military Families, and served as a California delegate for his county — which positioned him to become the San Joaquin County California Chairman for Senator John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign.

The conservative political activist has written several newspaper articles on a variety of critical issues out of his desire to inform the public. In 2011, Aquila decided to write his first book, Sarah Palin Out of Nowhere to describe his “great influence” on her selection as Senator John McCain’s vice presidential nominee, and to reveal the truth about the great patriot and leader she is for America.

Like Governor Palin, Frank Aquila also came out of nowhere. He fought against the Republican leadership in his own county, which motivated him to create his own political organization. Like Governor Palin, Citizen Aquila is a person of action — not simply words — in the ongoing effort to ensure America remains the greatest nation in the world.
