A cursory look at my photostream shows that my interests and styles are eclectic. I am a nature photographer, yet I sometimes look at urban scenes. I am a realistic photographer, yet I also veer into the abstract. I am a color photographer, yet I have lately delved into the more formal realm of black and white. My interests and philosophy are broadly ecological. I am drawn to the nature of places and to the philosophy of place, and on another scale I am drawn to the texture of places and to the formal relationships between such entities as trees and clouds. In the end, my goal is a spiritual one - to create a mythic space that is a fusion of the material, the organic, and the human realms.
