Hello

Just a few words about myself, been taking photographs since i was about 12 years old with my Kodak 126 instamatic, now using Canon cameras with a Samsung NX11 mirrorless slr on occasion.

I was a Countryside Officer working for a small charitable trust, whose role is to work alongside Sheffield council to renovate run down areas for wildlife, e.g creating wildflower meadows, ponds, planting hedgerows etc. Now I work part time as an Allotment Manager for my local village forum.

Went to college in the 1980's to obtain GSCE and A Level qualifications in photography, my main subjects are nature and landscapes. I try to take my pictures as naturally as possible, as I was taught by my lecturer, so I use Photoscape to add contrast and a touch of sharpening and that's it unless I want a bit of an arty shot, which you will see crop up now and again, I also use Picasa to crop the picture into my usual letterbox format.
