I got into digital photography after I got a late start into computers. Better late than never. I used little point and shoot cameras, that I could have on my belt in a holster. Then when I was away from my computer for the winter I got a Samsung Galaxy S6 and have been using it as a camera ever since.

I'd like to get an SLR and learn how to use it, but don't want to lug it around.

We live on a wetland in western Washington. I've made a study of the seasonal lake. I'm learning the need for wetlands and forests. If we don't change our ways this planet won't sustain all of us people.
