Phil has brought me so many smiles and even loud and cheeful laughters with his imagery coupled with sometimes the most hilarious captions or comments. But not only that. He has brought Australia to my computer screen, he has taught me things about the fauna down under I absolutely did not know, as I need to go and ask Goggle or Wikipedia when I do not understand about Frogmouths, Tasmanian devils and Meerkats. And then the joy of his way of capturing the animals and nature, with so much love and affection, that is shines through in their answers up into the camera. Thank you Phil!

Coming across Phil's photostream was one of my highlights soon after joining Flickr. He was one of the first people I wanted to make a contact so that I could come back to his stream often. I have already expressed to Phil that I saw a special relationship between him and the wildlife and the nature he photographs. As I wrote in one of his sets.."It seems to me that you are in harmony with your surroundings and the wildlife around you. There is a cooperation and intimacy with each other that appears to allow you to enter into their activities in a personal way and gives you the opportunity to take photographs that are personalized to their daily activities." I continue to enjoy his photography. Often times laughing at the funny moments captured, his wry and delightful captions and the quality of the images. I often wonder...how did he do that? How did he manage to capture the personality of that bird or the richness of that moment in nature. As a Flickr friend, his comments are inspiring to me to continue to pursue expression in my photographs. To share the meaning and the story that I see in what I create. Phil is one of the people who gives the Flickr world its talent, integrity and heart.
