I am quickly approaching the big 4-0 (edit: now officially over the hill) and wish I found quilting earlier in my life! I graduated from university with a degree in Fine Arts (mainly sculpture and printmaking). I love all crafts and still have many I want to try (crochet and rag rug making to name two).

I ADORE buttons. I love the colour green. I also love text prints, navy, aqua, teal, turquoise, lime green and the colour red in fabric. I also love linen! Oh and CHOCOLATE, candy - especially grape flavoured things that I can't get here in the UK and Kraft Dinner Spirals - also something I can't get here in the UK!!

I love Lily of the Valley flowers, my dog Jax who is a dachshund/beagle and I love butter caramel or salted caramel macarons. I am not a fan of batiks or rainbows.

I work full-time so I sew in the spare time that I can grab between work and 'life'.
