Although I’ve been playing around with 35mm film cameras off and on since college, I’ve only recently discovered the digital format, and it’s renewed my interest in photography.

Now, even with a few digital cameras and lenses in my bag (Nikon DSLR, multiple lenes, Sony P&S), I am choosing instead to focus on the challenge of shooting with a standard iPhone 4, 5 and 7. No special apps and no post-production (no Photoshop, GIMP, PICNIK or anything else) at all. They’re not technically perfect (far from it!) but they are the real thing. What I’ve shot is what you see.

I like to get out most weekends and explore the kind of sites that have always fascinated me. Old highways, abandoned bridges, rusting signs, decaying buildings and towns. Sometimes, a picturesque landscape thrown in for good measure. These are the kind of subjects that catch my photographic ‘eye’ and I hope yours as well.....MARK
