Hi all, I'm a hobbyist photographer who will only try to show the very best of my work, what I consider worthy of matching the competitive market (except special events / locations).

In reflection my perfectionist attitude reduces what others may consider an enjoyable photograph, do you show your best work because you believe it to be technically correct or do you show imperfection just because its a good picture that is 80% correct and that others may enjoy, thus upholding the theory 'beauty is in the eye of beholder'?

I prefer animals, macro (Insects) and sports as the action is always fast (may be ignore the snails in this!) and you have to work with that you are given, weather conditions, background settings and in some cases nice long holidays to see some amazing places and animals (Mountain Gorilla in Rwanda & Uganda)
I started using 35mm film in 1996 and I migrated to digital not long after Canon introduced the Canon 20D, one day I hope to go back to full frame as digital.
Thanks for reading this bit about me and I hope you enjoy the images as much as I have enjoyed photographing them.
