Retired, elderly housewife with a super husband, 2 lovely grown-up children and 7 gorgeous grandchildren currently (2014) aged between 20 and 8 years.

I spent the early part of my working life in the Civil Service, later working for some decades as a senior systems analyst for an American computer company. I took early retirement to become a full time carer for my mother. This wonderful job sadly came to an end very recently and another part of my life has now started. There are places to go, things to do and people to see.

Over the years I have been very involved with aid work in Romania and although the aid aspect has now been passed on to another organisation I still maintain my links with families there, and I enjoy visiting them as and when I have the chance to do so.
