Well, once upon a time there was a young boy who lavished himself in an old basket of classic LEGO for hours on end at his Oma's house. His imagination held no bounds and in those short times, he truly felt free. As he grew over the years, he had started to build quite a collection of his own. His own "tub". It was relatively large and deep. Within it was freedom. Even just to open it and look at his collection of instruction booklets sitting on top, was enough to send him into a dream space. The years flew by, like the dusk of a day setting. Life became intense, full to the brim with adventures and challenges. Packing his things to travel one day, he came to his tub of LEGO. Knowing he couldn't take it with him, he knew it was finally time to pass the tub on. Two of his young cousins were strong in the ways of LEGO and were most certainly a pair worthy of such a horde. He gave the tub to them and saw there eyes explode with ideas. He left to wander the lands.

Now he is back. Living with his beautiful family: his amazing partner and his radiant children, he still dreams of creating freedom. One day after not long returning home, he stumbled across "LEGO DIGITAL DESIGNER 4". his jaw dropped and he rubbed his eyes. words couldn't explain what this meant. "It would probably be a lame selection of pieces and would be frustrating to use", he thought, doubting that it would be any good, "But hey, why not have a look see anywho!". After downloading it, unlimited creations started flowing. Then Bricklink, blogs, websites and nothing has been the same since...

I have now built scores of things, though I don't always have the funds to purchase many actual bricks or get an awesome camera but I do want to say thank you to everyone inside and out of the LEGO community for keeping the dreams alive.
