I moved to Hawaii on the Big Island, near Volcano, late 2007 and eventually got tired of the cool weather. Then moved to the Lower Puna coast for a few years. Now I live north of Hilo in Laupahoehoe.

I've had the chance to go and take lots of wonderful pictures of the Island. Amazingly in March of 2008, the volcano erupted with a bang. That eruption finally ended in 2018 with a huge eruption that destroyed over 500 homes and added several square miles to the coast line.

I've been off line for several years, and now am back. Feel free to make any comments of pictures that you like. That's how I can tell which ones to keep, once I add more.
