I have always loved photography but never really took it any further than my compact on holiday. But this year (2011) I got a Nikon d3100 and fell in love.....so my flikr account is kind of a record of my progress. Flikr has been a huge inspiration to me, I have been blown away by so much talent and only hope that one day I might be able to take pictures like those! so I really appreciate the comments as they spur me on and encourage me, it is so nice to know that someone has enjoyed your picture!
