I'm a very visual person, and photos appeal to me on a very basic, instinctive level, I want to see more and learn more about the world I live in and the people I live in it with.

So far I am having fun with my DSLR, as and when time permits me to play with it. I'm teaching myself and using books and the internet as my primary sources of information, which I am finding can be very hit and miss.

Most interesting has been bumping into other photography hobbyists while out and about and chatting to them, you soon realise how far down the ladder of skill you are! But still I persist! So I'm either stupid, or I just like the idea of capturing a moment in time that will appeal to myself as well as others.
