My name's Chris and I just can't stop taking photos. I love wildlife of all kinds and have made it my mission in life to photograph as much of it as possible.

Away from photography, I love kayaking and camping in the woods with all manner of creatures. I'm also an avid fan of sungura and township jive music picked up on travels through the third home in my heart - Southern Africa.

In real life my wife and I run a very busy emergency veterinary hospital in Nanaimo, serving most of Vancouver Island on the gorgeous Canadian West Coast. Our lifestyle enables me to pursue wildlife photography whilst enjoying a very exciting job in the veterinary world. I find the two fields somehow compliment each other very well.
