Grew up communicating orally.

Got my first cochlear implant (Nucleus 24 from Cochlear) in 2003.

Got my 2nd/bilateral implant (Nucleus Freedom from Cochlear) in 2006.

Biggest difference between the cochlear implant and hearing aids is that sounds are much more clearer, and I can now use the phone and cellphone.
