I started this flickr for a creative outlet for my photography, writing, and home ec. hobbies - all moms need outlets! My heart is to encourage others to pursue photography and other hobbies, but also to pursue a strong relationship with God and their families. In case you were wondering, we're not into the quiverfull movement, we kind of sorta homeschool- but mostly use tutors, so I'm not a real homeschooling mom either. I'm not into legalism, issues, movements, bashing non-believers, or FV. This flickr's purpose is to record fun times with my kids, archive my photography journey as I learn, and to write some of my spiritual journey too. I don't facebook, tweet, do forums, etc online, so if you see a pic of me or name, it's not me. All words and pics copyrighted.

My desire is that my flickr be counter-cyber culture. No obligation to comment. No advertisements. No view counter. This is a place to share my journey in photography - I'm self taught and I'm learning as I go (so lots of pictures), as well as a place to write my spiritual journey (that means God) - an outlet amidst the lovely chaos that surrounds me. I'm not your typical homeschool mom; I really don't fit the fundie title 'cause I don't reject those with different beliefs; I'm not a quiverful promoter/believer, and I have no intent on landing some big job, making money or getting exposure through this. I don't have nannies. I'm a mom full time. I desire that my husband and children never be neglected in order for me to post, so posts are pretty irregular. My hope is that people leave here encouraged - either to pursue their dreams and hobbies, love their husband and children more, or pursue something I've found to be much more fullfilling: relationship with God (and I don't mean a list of religious rules here.) Please ask for permission before using pictures, or writing.
