Drag to set position!
I've been into photography for a while. I had a 110 camera as a kid, but really got into photography in 2002 when I wanted to take photos of my friends in college. My first camera was my parent's 35mm camera, a Canon AE-1. Loved the thing! After that I went from broke college student to REALLY broke college student; spending most of my money on gear and film. I was very lucky to have two other friends that were equally enthusiastic about photography as I was and I loved having people to bounce off creative ideas. There was a period of about a year (2007-2008), where I was shooting a bunch of digital, but always continued to use film.
Today, I mostly shoot film for things that matter to me (friends, family, and personal projects). On the occasion that I have paid work, I might add in some digital.
I started developing my own black and white film in 2013 (took me long enough). I shoot 35mm, medium format, pack films, and some 4x5. My favorite subject matters are typically people, geometric composition, things you don't see everyday and ironic situations (e.g. weird street candids or poorly placed advertisements).
Since instagram is now a facebook product, my instagram feed no longer gets forwarded to flickr. Unfortunately, I don't usually make it over to flickr all that frequently, so you can see my most recent work there: www.instagram.com/ctwphoto
