I started my photography adventure in Dec 2009 with my 1st camera , a Lumix TZ7 ,up until then I had no interest all having spent the last 30 years or so as a Semi- Pro musician doing the normal rounds of the pubs ,clubs etc. and up until then we did not even have a computer in the house so it has been a big uphill learning curve since then . If any-one had said back then that I would be totally hooked on photography in 3 years time I would have just laughed in their face , but here we are totally hooked and just cant get enough of it, only problem is , that it is such a big learning curve . I sincerely apologize in advance that if you add me as a contact, I may not be able to reciprocate. I hope that you do not feel offended if I do not reciprocate..In fact I have stopped adding to my contact list simply because I cannot cope with a large contact list .I honestly beleive that different people are on Flickr for various reasons. I am on Flickr to share my work with other like-minded photographers and also to learn from others. My main purpose in being on Flickr is not to accumulate a huge contact list. Also, I am not primarily interested in collecting as many comments/faves as possible - that is not my aim - if that happens, I am truly appreciative and that is great. It is very difficult to keep reasonably close contact with a large number of individuals,. I do have a responsibility to keep my contact list at a size that I can reasonably manage, and I acknowledge that this limitation is a constraint on my part. I also have a responsibility towards my existing contacts. However, if you do visit my photostream and leave a comment, I will most certainly reciprocate, whether you are a contact or not. All the best and take care , Phil , just a update just in case anyone takes the time to read the description , I went through a big operation on a aneurysm that was sitting attached to my kidney last year , unfortunately the operation did not go as planed and has left me partially paralysed , it has now left me that I cannot drive anymore and as well I struggle to walk without the aide of a crutch , hence the reason now that I am posting Images that were taken earlier on in my photographic journey , I have a couple of friends who take me out and again ,, but I am just so restricted that I get so annoyed that I can't do what I want to do , and in particular , getting up early in the morning and just driving to my preferred location for that day , anyway , thats about it , take care , Phil
